Which browsers will the extension support?

We are building extensions for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. All three are based on the same codebase and will have identical features. Safari support may follow in a later release.

Does the browser extension work offline?

Yes. All text processing happens locally in your browser. The extension does not send your text to any server. It works without an internet connection once installed.

Will I need an account to use the extension?

No. The extension requires no sign-up, no account, and no login. Install it and it is ready to use immediately.

Can I use keyboard shortcuts with the extension?

Yes. You will be able to assign custom keyboard shortcuts to your most-used conversions through the extension settings. This is designed for users who want to convert text without touching the mouse at all.

Will the extension work on Google Docs or Notion?

Support for rich-text editors like Google Docs, Notion, and similar tools is more complex because they use custom text rendering. We are working on compatibility but cannot guarantee it in the initial release. Standard text fields on most websites will work without issues.

How do I give feedback or report a bug?

Email hello@caseconvert.ing with details about the issue. Include your browser name and version, which site you were on, and what happened. Screenshots help a lot.
