How does Unicode underline work?
The tool adds combining marks under each character. This produces an underline effect that copies across apps and browsers.
What’s the difference between double and single?
Single uses a low line mark; double uses a double low line mark for stronger emphasis.
Can I keep spaces un‑underlined?
Yes. Toggle ‘Underline Spaces’ to include or exclude spaces from the underline effect.
Is this different from Strikethrough?
Strikethrough draws lines through text; Underline draws lines below text with multiple styles.
