Common Mistakes & Misunderstandings
Discord also supports Markdown — these tools serve different purposes: Discord natively renders **bold**, *italic*, and `code` in regular messages. Unicode styles from this generator work everywhere (including channel names and descriptions where Markdown doesn't apply), but native Markdown renders with better font matching in messages.
Not every style works in every Discord location: Channel names have strict character restrictions. Some Unicode mathematical characters may be rejected in channel names while working fine in message content. Test before applying to server structure.
